FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vibration isolator contains a spring with a built-in damper, a body and a dry friction damper. The body is made in the form of upper and lower hollow T-sleeves, fixing the spring with their end surface. The dry friction damper is made in the form of a sleeve of friction material located between the outer surface of the upper sleeve and the inner surface of the lower sleeve, which is resilient and presses the sleeve against the outer surface of the upper sleeve. The spring is a screw cylindrical one and consists of two parts with facing ends. The first spring part is fitted with rectangular section turns, which have rounded edges, and the second part is hollow. The facing end of the first part is located in the cavity of the second part. The gaps of segmental profile of contacting spring parts are filled by antifriction lubricant. A packing seal is mounted at the end of the second spring part to prevent grease leakage. The first part of the screw spring is embraced by a tube of damping material, for example, polyurethane. A lubricant for friction units containing mineral oil and a lubricating additive is used as an antifriction lubricant.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of vibration isolation in resonance mode.
