FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: bumper contains the coil spring with the integrated damper, which interacts with the pendulum unit. The lower end of the spring rests against the upper flange of the casing. The pendulum unit is made in the form of the threaded rod with nuts at the ends and the support washers. The upper rubber elastic element is located between the upper spring flange and the support washer, and the lower one is located between the support washer and the plate on which the vibration absorbing equipment is fixed. The spring is made of screw cylindrical form and consists of two parts with facing ends. The first part of the spring has the rectangular section turns with rounded edges, and the second part is made as hollow. The facing end of the first part is located in the cavity of the second part. The segment profile gaps of the spring contacting parts are filled with antifriction lubricant for friction units, containing the mineral oil and the lubricating additive. The packing seal is mounted at the spring second part end to prevent the lubricant leakage. The first part of the screw spring is enclosed by the tube of the damping material, for example, polyurethane. The rigidity of the rubber elastic elements exceeds the rigidity of the spring.
EFFECT: efficient damping in the resonance mode and simplified design and assembly.
