FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: vibration isolator contains a housing, an elastic element and a pendulum suspension. On the base there are two parallel-connected elastic elements located between the top cover and the base. The elastic element comprises of a spring with a built-in damper and a bushing of a three-dimensional mesh coaxially-located inside or outside the spring. The spring is of a screw cylindrical form and consists of two parts with facing ends. The first spring part has rectangular section turns with rounded edges, and the second part is made hollow. The facing end of the first part is located in the cavity of the second part. The segmental profile gaps of the contacting spring parts are filled with antifriction lubricant. The packing seal is mounted at the end of the second spring part to prevent the lubricant leakage. The first part of the screw spring is enclosed by the tube of a damping material, for example, polyurethane. The lubricant for friction units, containing the mineral oil and the lubricating additive, is used as the antifriction lubricant of the spring contacting parts.

EFFECT: increased vibration isolation efficiency.
