SUBSTANCE: for the processing of ultrasound data, the following steps are performed: obtaining an ultrasound image in the B mode; the first area of interest is determined on the ultrasound image obtained in the B mode in accordance with the first input received from the user; the data relating to elasticity are measured for the first area of interest using the ultrasound transverse wave imaging method; generating the second area of interest on the ultrasound image obtained in the B mode based on the first area of interest; and extracting the image features representing the anatomical information for the second area of interest from the ultrasound image obtained in the B mode.
EFFECT: improving the quality of ultrasound imaging.
