FLOW LIQUID CELL FOR SCANNING PROBE MICROSCOPY Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G01Q30/14 B82Y35/00

Abstract RU 2638365 C1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: in flow liquid cell consisting of a lower base, an upper base, containing a cantilever holder and channels for supplying and discharging the circulating liquid in the cell, the lower base contains a recess in the lower part of the body, in the upper part of which there is a through hole connected with it, hermetically closed at the bottom by a removable elastic film fixed horizontally on the base body with the removable crimp element fixing the film, the removable first element located on the top of the magnetic film or exhibiting the ferromagnetic properties, the removable second element with at least one groove on the lateral surface parallel to the flat horizontal parts of the end planes of the element under the film and exhibiting the properties of ferromagnet or magnet. The base body includes at least one groove in the recess, in which there is a part of the retainer of the second element vertical movement with the possibility to retrieve the retainer made in the form of a plate with a slot, at least one groove from the recesses in its rectilinear movement, with the possibility to install the second element in the slot of the retainer by the available second element of the specified at least one groove. At least one of the first and the second elements is made of a magnetic material and the top cell base contains a flat optically transparent closed window, under which there is at least a part of the cantilever holder, which is in the body hole of the lower cell base cell above the first element.

EFFECT: simplification of the installation and removal of the cell in a microscope, eliminating the possibility of its flow.
