FLOWING LIQUID MESH FOR SCANNING PROBE MICROSCOPY Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01Q30/14 B82Y35/00

Abstract RU 2645884 C1

FIELD: instrument engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of scanned probe microscopy. In said mesh, consisting of a lower base, an upper base containing a cantilever holder, and channels for supplying and withdrawing the liquid circulating in a mesh, bottom base comprises in the lower part of its body a deepening with a through hole connected to it at the top of which, which airproof sealed at the bottom horizontally resilient film, a magnetic, or developing property of ferromagnet located on top of the film, a removable first element, removable second element with at least one groove on the lateral surface parallel to the flat horizontal parts of the end planes of the element that is under the film and exhibiting the properties of ferromagnet or magnet. Base of the body comprises, in the deepening, at least one groove in which a part of the vertical movement fixing move of the second element is located, with the possibility of removing a plunge pin formed in the form of plate with peek-a-boo, from the deepening with its rectilinear movement, at least one groove with the possibility of installing the second element in the peek-a-boo of the plunge pin due to at least one groove in the second element. At least one of the first and second elements is made of a magnetic material. Upper base of mesh comprises a flat, optically transparent closed window beneath which at least a part of the cantilever holder is located that is located at the assembled mesh in the opening of the bottom mesh body above the first element.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the processes of installation and removal of flowing liquid mesh in a microscope and to eliminate the possibility of its flow during operation.
