SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for production of hydrophobised hyaluronic acid (Formula I). R is H⁺ or Na⁺ and R¹ is H or -C(=O)C_xH_y or -C(═O)CH=CH-het, where x is an integer ranging from 5 to 17, and y is an integer ranging from 11 to 35, and C_xH_y is a linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated C₅-C₁₇ chain and het is a heterocyclic or heteroaromatic group with an arbitrary content of N, S or O atoms with at least one repeating unit containing one or more R¹ -C(=O)C_xH_y or -C(=O)CH=CH-het groups, and where n is ranging from 12 to 4000. A method for production of this hyaluronic acid derivative, a nanomicellar composition based thereon, a method for production of a nanomicellar composition and its application in pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications, as well as a method for production of its stabilized form are also proposed.
