SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to production of new polysaccharide derivatives containing in their structure a heterocycle having a double bond in positions 4 and 5 in accordance with structural formula X
,
where R is -NH-CO-CH3 or -OH. Method of producing consists in oxidation of OH group in position 6 to aldehyde, followed by elimination, aimed at formation of double -C=C-link in positions 4 and 5, and final reduction of aldehyde group in position 6 to initial alcohol.
EFFECT: obtained polysaccharide derivatives show high antioxidant activity, and derivatives based on hyaluronic acid are also characterized by selective negative action on viability of carcinoma cells.
