FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: decoder is proposed to decode an array of information from data stream samples, in which syntax elements are encoded using the binarization of the syntax elements. The decoder includes an entropy decoder, a symbol conversion module, a recovery module. The entropy decoder is configured to extract the number of binaries by the binarization from the data stream using binary entropy decoding by selecting a context from among the different contexts and updating the probability states. The conversion module from the symbol form is configured to de-binarize the binarization of the syntax elements to obtain integer values of the syntax elements.
EFFECT: improving the decoding efficiency, encoding video data by optimizing the initialized probability state for each context.
