FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Decoder for decoding video from a data stream into which the motion vector differences are encoded using motion vector difference binarizations equal to the truncated unary code in the first interval of the region of determination of the motion vector differences below the cutoff value, and the combination of the prefix in the form of a truncated unary code for this cutoff value and suffix in the form of an exponential Golomb code in the second interval of the region of detection of motion vector differences inclusive and above the cutoff value, contains an entropy decoder for deriving the truncated unary code from the data stream, using context-adaptive binary entropy decoding with exactly one context per bin position of the truncated unary code, and an exponential Golomb code, using the constant-equiprobable bypass mode to obtain the motion vector binarization; desymbolizer for debinarization of the motion vector difference binarizations to obtain integer values of the motion vector differences; a restorer for video recovery, based on integer values of motion vector differences.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of motion vectors differences entropic encoding efficiency.
