FIELD: aerosol generating systems.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an electrically heated aerosol generating system and an electrically heated device. The electrically heated aerosol generating system comprises an aerosol generating device (100) and a cartridge (200) configured to be used with the device. The device (100) includes a body (101) of the device, a flat spiral induction coil (110) and a power source (102) connected to the flat spiral induction coil (110) and configured to supply high-frequency oscillatory current to the flat spiral induction coil. The cartridge (200) comprises a cartridge body (204) containing an aerosol-forming substrate and configured to be coupled to the device body, and a current-collecting element (210) installed to heat the aerosol-forming substrate. In operation, a high frequency oscillatory current is passed through a flat helical induction coil to generate heat in the current collector.
EFFECT: provided system eliminates the need for solder joints and provides a sealed device that is easy to clean.
