SUBSTANCE: airbag module comprises an inflatable cushion near the steering wheel, with a chamber inflated up to a certain maximum volume and having a fabric diffuser located in the chamber. The inflatable cushion and the fabric diffuser can be made in such a way as to ensure the unfolding of at least part of the inflatable cushion forward from the steering wheel in case of the wrong driver's position, preventing the expansion of the inflatable cushion back to the maximum volume.
EFFECT: possibility of unfolding the airbag with a low risk for the driver being in both the right and wrong position with respect to the steering wheel.
