SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology. Strain of unicellular microalgae Mallomonas kalinae SX-1 – producer of fucoxanthin – is deposited in Russian National Collection of Industrial Microorganisms under registration number VKPM Al-23.
EFFECT: strain can be used in order to produce fucoxanthin in high yield.
