FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vacuum photoelectronic devices in which microchannel plates are used to amplify the photocurrent, and more particularly to the microchannel plate attachment point inside the vacuum case of the vacuum photoelectric device and can be used in the manufacture of such vacuum photoelectronic devices as photoelectronic multipliers, photons detectors, television transmitting tubes, electron-optical converters. The attachment point of the microchannel plate inside the vacuum case of the vacuum photoelectronic device comprises a microchannel plate with an electrically conductive input surface and an electrically conductive output surface held within the vacuum case and an electrically controllable microchannel plate, as well as the first ring and the second ring. The first ring is a metallized stop ring that is cut and directly in contact with the electrically conductive input surface of the microchannel plate to provide electrical contact and axial fixation of the microchannel plate within the vacuum case. The second ring is a metallized ring that has the first metallized surface in electrical contact with the metallized stop ring and the second metallized surface configured to provide electrical contact outside the vacuum case. The metallized stop ring at the sections symmetrical about its axis and remote from it by a distance equal to 0.15-0.5 of the outer diameter of the noted metallized stop ring is made with reduced stiffness.

EFFECT: increased uniformity of electronic amplification over the working field of the microchannel plate when it operates in a vacuum photoelectric device.
