FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method of laser processing of non-metallic materials according to the invention is in the calculation of conditions of material thermostability under the influence of laser pulse of triangular temporary form and, at its failure, preliminary heating of material to temperatures determined by the ratio, binding properties of the material and the duration of laser pulse. Further processing of materials is carried out by the action of a pulse of laser radiation with an energy density sufficient to reach the annealing temperature (melting) of the material surface.
EFFECT: method is used to prevent spalling of materials during processing and to increase the yield of the products.
