FIELD: experimental pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to experimental pharmacology and can be used to evaluate the neuroprotective properties of substances in vitro. For this purpose, human induced pluripotent stem cells differentiated in the neuronal direction are used by reprogramming human skin fibroblasts in induced pluripotent stem cells. After that, the induced pluripotent stem cells are repeatedly placed in the culture medium, ensuring their differentiation in the neuronal direction and the formation of dopaminergic neurons. Received differentiated cells are subjected to a damaging effect in the presence of the test substances and the protective effect of the test substances is evaluated by the results of cell survival.
EFFECT: usage of this method makes it possible to test combinations for the presence of neuroprotective activity.
