FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular to a method of producing glial precursors derived from induced pluripotent stem cells with high expression of BDNF for therapy of ischemic stroke.
EFFECT: invention provides obtaining a cell culture of modified glial precursors, which demonstrates expression of glial marker s100β, stimulates increased survival rate of cortical neurons and has anti-ischemic action consisting in reduction of death of animals and improvement of neurological deficit.
