FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of pharmacology, namely to photosensitisers based on chlorin e6. Photosensitiser for the treatment of cancer diseases contains chlorin e6 salt with N-methyl-D-glucamine (meglumine) and L-lysine in molar ratios of 1:2:1 and has the structural formula (I):
.
Also a method for the preparation of the photosensitiser for the treatment of cancer diseases is disclosed, which consists in adding to chlorin e6 salt the calculated amounts of N-methyl-D-glucamine (C7H17NO5) and L-lysine (C6H14N2O2) to the chlorin e6 salt, necessary to form the formula of salt (I), followed by filtration of the received solution of chlorin e6 double salt.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides the increased photo-induced activity of the photosensitiser during the photodynamic therapy of cancer diseases.
