METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING RISK OF DEVELOPING A SYNDROME OF VEGETATIVE-VASCULAR DYSFUNCTION IN SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN WHEN EXPOSED TO ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B5/16 A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2646582 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to medical ecology, hygienic diagnostics. Invention can be used to predict risk of developing syndrome of vegetative dysfunction (VDS) in schoolchildren aged 7–17 years. Risk factors are assessed: total air pollution of the inhabited locality where the subject lives; total effect of formaldehyde (FA); volume of the training load; a class of intensity of educational work; the percentage of measurements that meet the hygienic standards of illumination indices in the study rooms; percentage of measurements that correspond to the hygienic standards of microclimate indicators in the classrooms; age; floor; personal anxiety in Spielberger-Hanina test; FA excretion in urine; excretion of iodine in urine; physical activity. Complex diagnostic coefficient DCK is then calculated as sum of diagnostic coefficients of factors under consideration. Prognostic evaluation of value of DCk spend in three intervals. Depending on the value obtained in the interval, a conclusion is made about the low risk of development of SVD due to the influence of the complex of factors under consideration, or the risk is estimated as moderate, or make conclusion about the high risk of development in the child SVD as a result of the influence of a complex of factors of the external, school environment, educational work and way of life.

EFFECT: method allows to predict the risk of developing the syndrome of vegetovascular dysfunction under the influence of a complex of environmental factors by identifying the most informative diagnostic risk factors.
