FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of welding. Method includes the use for welding of electrodes with different chemical composition of the weld metal installed in separate electrode holders and connected to separate power supplies. Prior to welding, for each electrode, the dependence of the arc current on the time of complete electrode melting is determined experimentally for single-arc welding and approximate the resulting dependence by a hyperbolic function in the form I=A+B/t, where I is arc current, A; A and B are the coefficients of approximation of the resulting dependence by a hyperbolic function; t is the time of complete melting of the electrode, s, and welding is carried out by setting the arc current for each electrode in accordance with said approximated function for a given equal time of electrode melting.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to improve the quality of the welded seam.
