FIELD: fuel combustion devices.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for detecting obstruction in the exhaust duct of a gas boiler. Method for detecting obstruction in the exhaust duct of a gas boiler in which, during the operation of a gas boiler, the supercharger is driven, depending on the amount of air, passing through the Venturi tube, located at the inlet of the said supercharger, and thus gas is introduced; after the gas-air mixture is supplied to the burner, which is a mixture of introduced gas and air, an ignition process is carried out by means of a controller, then, the temperatures of the supplied heating water and the collected heating water is determined by means of temperature sensors, located in the pipeline for the supplied heating water and in the pipeline for the collected heating water, and the RPM (revolutions per minute) values of the supercharger fan and said temperatures of the supplied heating water and the collected heating water are used to detect any obstruction in the exhaust duct, wherein the said method comprises the following steps: step (A) on which an ignition process is performed in accordance with a user-predetermined temperature and temperature control is performed to obtain the said user-predetermined temperature, step (B) which involves determining whether the current RPM value of the driven supercharger exceeds the supercharger RPM control value, step (C) during which, if it is determined that the current value of the RPM of the fan exceeds the control value of the fan RPM, difference between the values of the temperatures of the supplied heating water and the collected heating water, which have been measured by means of temperature sensors for the supply of heating water, is calculated, and then it is established whether the calculated value is less than the predetermined reference temperature value, step (D) which involves determining whether the elapsed time exceeds the predetermined time based on the determination time in step (C) if it have been determined that said difference is less than said reference temperature value; and step (E) in which an outflow obstruction detection message is displayed outside if it has been determined that the elapsed time exceeds the predetermined time based on said determination time in step (C).
EFFECT: invention is designed to accurately determine in what state, clogged or normal, the duct is at the present moment.
