FIELD: metal processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal processing and can be used in investigating effect of different composition lubricating-cooling process agents (LCPA) on temperature and power parameters of cutting process during drilling of metal workpiece. Method includes corresponding processing of an electrically insulated workpiece by means of an electrically insulated drill with supply of LCPA into the cutting zone and measurement of cutting forces by means of electronic dynamometer and thermo-EMF by means of measuring devices, electrically connected by means of corresponding electric wires, including those placed in a container with ice, directly with drill and with workpiece, wherein electronic dynamometer is fitted via appropriate structural elements on lathe support. Said drill, installed in the drill chuck, is fixed in the lathe chuck, by means of which the drill is rotated during the workpiece processing, which is placed in the workpiece chuck and fixed on the electronic dynamometer by means of a mandrel, support and fixing screws, wherein LCPA is fed via nozzle arranged in through axial bore made in workpiece, workpiece chuck and ebonite spacer arranged there between.

EFFECT: use of the invention allows to expand the technological capabilities of the method.
