FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement techniques, in particular to optical methods of monitoring, and can be used in the electronic and chemical industries, in medicine, biology, ecology, powder metallurgy and other fields of science and technology related to the determination of parameters of suspended particles. Method of determination of the distribution of suspended particles by mass is based on irradiation of the object under study with laser and acoustic radiation and recording the light flux scattered by the particles. At the same time, with constant parameters of the laser radiator, the frequency of acoustic oscillations changes, with individual particles beginning to enter resonance and changing the frequency of the scattered light flux due to the Doppler effect, the refracted image of which, in the form of bands formed by a triangular prism, enters through the lens into a CCD array and is then fed to the microprocessor control and processing device to determine the particle distribution by mass.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of the data in determining the distribution of suspended particles by mass.
