FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric traction systems of vehicles powered from external power supplies. Towing converter of electric contains electric motor unit, filtering tools, AC/DC converter connected between contact line and filtering tools. Towing converter of electric contains n number of channels of towing converters, each of them has contactors for power supply and linkwork for headstart, consisting of contactors and resistor, brake governor of current with brake resistor. In this case, AC/DC converter contains control system. Control system includes connected in series voltage comparator, voltage regulator, module of phase locked loop, multiplier, a current comparator, resonant regulator, PWM unit.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to provide reliability and interference protection.
