SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the railway transport, to the electric locomotive electric transmission. Electric locomotive electric transmission contains traction transformer, which primary winding is connected to the catenary system, and four secondary independent windings are connected to the four voltage converters first and second inputs, respectively, which first outputs via the train contactor contacts are connected to the four traction motors with built-in rotational speed sensors armature windings inputs, which outputs through the corresponding excitation windings and reverser contacts are connected to the voltage converters second outputs, at that, parallel to the traction motors each excitation windings through the field weakening contactor contacts the field weakening resistors are connected, at that, the train contactor, reverser and field weakening contactor switching on / off control is performed by the control system including four control units, each of which controls its own voltage converter, at that, each voltage converter contains the 4QS module, a capacity, a voltage regulator, and each 4QS module and the voltage regulator are assembled on IGBT transistors with reverse diodes.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is increase in the power factor, the thrust and braking force axis-by-axis adjustment.
