FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for diagnosing human brain tumors, in particular to visualization of human glioblastoma. Present method includes treating the brain tissue with a DNA aptamer, selected from the established sequence of aptamers reflected as SEQ ID NO 1 to SEQ ID NO 3 and associated with a fluorescent label. Sequences of aptamers specific for glioblastoma, were obtained using cell-SELEX technology with alternation of positive and negative selection using as a positive target a postoperative tumor tissue of human brain glioblastoma and negative selection using nonglial tumors as negative targets — meningiomas and metastases in the brain tumors of various locations. Visualization of glioblastoma is carried out using a surgical fluorescence microscope.

EFFECT: method allows to increase the accuracy of visualization of glioblastoma and to determine its true limits in the course of surgical intervention.
