FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for producing nanosized particles of gold in water medium comprising placing two electrodes in distilled water in container, one of which is made of gold, transmission between electrodes of stabilized flow of direct current, characterized in that gold plate is used as the second electrode, the electrodes are separated by a microporous membrane, wherein process of electrolytic decomposition is carried out with presence of catalyst whose role is played by mixture of citrated solution C6H8O7 and ammonia solution NH3, at molar ratio of catalyst mixture to the total volume of distilled water 1:100.

EFFECT: cheapness, safety, ease of obtaining nanosized particles of gold in water medium with simultaneous insensitivity to light, kinetic stability, thermodynamic stability, presence of each particle charge that preventing adhesion of particles by a small constant of instability, micellar shape – with a reduction in size, the number of particles increases by orders of magnitude, while surface of particle increases, the greater the number of particles and their total surface, the more effective action.
