FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, in particular to cryosurgery, and can be used for the treatment of tumorous diseases. For this, at least one cryoprobe is introduced into the tumor. Two-cycle cryodestruction of the tumor is performed. Each of the two cycles of cryodestruction involves cooling the tumor up to the temperature in the range from -35 °C up to -55 °C at the tumor boundary, then maintaining the temperature exposure during 4–6 minutes and shutdown of the cryoprobe cooling until the freezing zone is completely thawed. After carrying out the second cycle of cryodestruction, the cryoprobe is removed. After 48–72 hours after carrying out the two-cycle cryodestruction of the tumor, the cytotoxic drug of direct action is injected into the focus of the tumor cryonecrosis.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the risk of recurrence of the disease due to effective tumor devitalization as a result of more complete destruction of the tumor structure during cryodestruction, as well as due to effective suppression of cell growth in the residual tumor, enhancement of the patient's immune status.
