FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cryosurgery and oncology, and can be used for percutaneous puncture cryoablation for bone tumors. One or more cryoprobes are introduced into the soft tissues located in the immediate vicinity of the bone tumor along a planned trajectory adjacent to the tumor zone throughout its entire length. Cryodestruction of the tumor is performed by two cycles of tumor cooling with an exposure duration of at least 8 minutes with passive thawing of the affected area between cycles and after the end of the procedure. The beginning of the exposure duration is determined from the time of formation of the ice sphere extending beyond the tumor pole farthest from the cryoprobe by at least 5 mm. After the second cycle of cryodestruction is completed, the cryoprobes are removed. In case of unsatisfactory visualization of the ice sphere inside the bone, its boundaries are completed taking into account the visible part of the sphere in soft tissues.

EFFECT: method reduces the risk of damage to organs and anatomical structures and the risk of tumor seeding of the puncture channel due to the absence of the need to perform bone trepanation in the area of tumor destruction when installing the cryoprobe(s).
