OCCLUDER FOR CONGENITAL HEART DISEASES WITH MEMBRANE FROM BIOINTEGRABLE MATERIAL Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B17/08

Abstract RU 2655531 C2

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical technology and can be used to correct an interventricular septum defect, interatrial septum defect and open arterial duct in order to restore the normal functioning of the patient's cardiovascular system. Occluder for the elimination of congenital heart diseases with a membrane of a bio-integrable material contains a braided metal frame, frame clamps and membrane. Occluder frame is formed by interlacing a multitude of metal filaments from a memory-shaped nickel-titanium alloy. Clamps of the occluder frame hold the proximal and distal ends of the frame from their disengagement, while on the fixer of the proximal end of the occluder, there is a means of attachment to the pushrod of the delivery system. Membrane of the product, which is necessary to block the pathological defect in the structure of the heart, is installed inside the frame and sewn to it along the entire perimeter of the membrane with the help of a sutural surgical material.

EFFECT: occluder allows you to replicate the spatial structure of biological tissue and eliminate pathological blood flow through the defect, promotes rapid bio-integration of the material and unhindered germination of blood vessels and tissues in the postoperative period.
