Data transmission device comprises: processor circuit for the enhanced node B (eNB); authorization component for the processor circuit execution of the Physical Multicast Channel (PMCH-InfoList) information element (IE) generation, which includes a field indicating whether quadrature amplitude shift keying 256 (256QAM) is allowed for transmissions on the downlink transmission channel to one or more user equipment (UE) via the PMCH; transmission component for the processor circuit execution of the PMCH-InfoList IE transmission provision to one or more UEs.

EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of the ability to set higher data throughput requirements for the downlink channel transmissions.
