FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, oncology, and may be used to prognosticate tumor sensitivity to neoadjuvant chemotherapy for luminal B molecular-genetic type of breast cancer. To do this, the tumor histotype and the degree of malignancy of the tumor are determined by morphological examination of the neoplasm tissue at the light-optical level. Study is based on the classification of malignant neoplasms in the TNM system to determine the T index, conduct a morphological study of preparations of tumor tissue, determine the degree of expression of cellular polymorphism, determine the volume of tubular structures, calculate the number of mitoses and conduct a histological evaluation of the infiltrative component of the neoplasm tissue, where the number of different types of structures is counted: alveolar, tubular, trabecular, solid structures and discrete groups of tumor cells. Further, the value of the regression equation is calculated, the probability of tumor regression (P) is determined. For P≥50 % determine high, and at P<50 % low tumor sensitivity to neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
EFFECT: invention allows to prognosticate tumor sensitivity to neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with luminal B molecular-genetic type of breast cancer.
