SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for processing a signal provided by a bi-directional sensor. Method for processing signal (CRK) supplied by a bi-directional sensor comprises the following steps: generating first signal (CRK_CNT) using all time intervals of the signal supplied by the sensor, generating second signal (CRK_FW) using time intervals corresponding to a first direction of passage, generating a third signal (CRK_BW) using time intervals corresponding to a second direction of passage, connecting the first signal to the input of a first electronic component, connecting the second and third signals to a second electronic component, detecting, via the second electronic component, the edges of the received signals, changing the value of the predetermined threshold (THMI) in the first component upon each detection of an edge.
EFFECT: technical result is to provide reliable determination of the angular position of the corresponding engine.
