FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to labour hygiene and medical, in particular to methods for assessing the effectiveness of medical preventive measures taken to reduce occupational health risks, caused by arterial hypertension (AH) in workers performing underground mining. Method comprises the determination of laboratory indicators in a blood sample of a group of workers before and after medical preventive measures: malondialdehyde level, antioxidant activity level, high-density lipoprotein content, homocysteine level; atherogenic index; determination of the vascular endothelium state through establishing the degree of reduction in brachial artery diameter increase, comparing the indicators with the physiological norm and referring them to work-related, if they are characterized by RR > 1.5 and EF > 33 %, calculating occupational health risks before and after measures, establishing a risk reduction in percent, by which the effectiveness of measures is determined.
EFFECT: method of quantitative assessment of the effectiveness of medical preventive measures.
