SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of image processing, namely, to the display brightness adjusting. Method of display brightness adjusting comprises the following steps: obtaining initial gray pixel values on the display interface; performing a gray scale conversion from the initial values of the gray scale of pixels to obtain the transformed values of the gray scale of pixels; correcting gray scale values of the display interface according to the converted values of the gray scale of the pixels; and after the process of brightness adjusting, it is again necessary to determine the brightness at various positions of the display, and then the values of the gray scale of the parts with different brightness are appropriately adjusted to varying degrees; and the gray scale of each pixel is adjusted according to the brightness of each pixel on the display.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of adjusting the brightness of the display interface.
