FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, in particular to a rodent, which expresses the chimeric human/rodent-related MHC II protein complex, as well as to a cell and tissue thereof. Also disclosed is a method for modifying the mouse MHC II locus for expressing a chimeric human / mouse MHC II complex, as well as a method of identifying an HLA class II restricted peptide, the presentation of which by the human cell and binding by human lymphocytes will result in the cytotoxicity of the cell-carrying peptide. Invention also relates to a chimeric human / rodent-related MHC II protein complex for the identification and selection of peptides, which will provide a suitable response in the human T-cell.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to efficiently obtain a rodent expressing a chimeric human / rodent-related MHC II protein complex.
