FIELD: control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vehicle control devices. Control device of a vehicle controls the movement of the vehicle by selecting one of the two driving modes, and provides movement in the selected mode. Vehicle consumes battery power when driving in the first mode and maintains the amount of battery power when driving in the second mode. Route of the vehicle from the starting point to the destination includes various zones. Control device of a vehicle includes a mode planning portion and a mode control portion configured to control the movement of the vehicle on the basis of the created travelling plan. Mode planning portion is executed with an opportunity of creating a travelling plan, assigns one of two modes for each zone included in the route. Mode control portion activates the first mode when the vehicle deviates from the route that corresponds to the created travelling plan, and then continues to move along a new path.
EFFECT: increase in the economy of movement of the vehicle is achieved.
