FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to food industry and can be used to prepare hot or cooled sports drink, intended for regular use in diet of athletes during accelerated recruitment of muscle mass during intensive training and by ordinary people to enhance protein component of their food. Composition for preparation of sports drink contains whey protein concentrate, egg white, substitute for dry cream of vegetable origin, natural instant coffee, caffeine, xanthan gum, lecithin, sucralose and fragrances with the following content of initial components, mass: milk whey protein concentrate – 30–50, egg albumen – 6–16, substitute for dry cream on vegetable basis – 16–26, natural instant coffee – 6–10, caffeine – 0.10–0.15, xanthan gum – 0.8–1.0, lecithin – 1.0–2.0, sucralose – 0.06–0.12, flavouring agent – 0.6–1.2.
EFFECT: invention provides rapid build-up of lean muscle mass and effective recovery after intense physical exertion.
