FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, intensive care after cardiac surgery interferences. IAP is measured according to the level of pressure in the bladder. On the anterior abdominal wall the load having the weight of 5 % of the body weight is placed. With an increase in IAP to 12 mm Hg and more a high risk of developing IBD is predicted. Absence of increase in VBD to 12 mm Hg indicates a low risk of IBD development.
EFFECT: method allows to estimate the level of intra-abdominal pressure, to predict the risk of complications in the form of intra-abdominal hypertension among patients undergoing cardiac surgery in conditions of cardiopulmonary bypass with no restrictions on use, minimal technical requirements.
