FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sensors for measuring the angle of rotation based on an anisotropic magnetoresistive effect in thin magnetic films and can be used in control systems for moving objects. Method of balancing the angular magnetoresistive sensor comprises the steps of connecting a discrete series of identical adjusting resistances in series with the branches of a Winston bridge and balancing the Winston bridge by increasing the resistance of the branches of the Winston bridge by successive laser cutting of the jumpers of the corresponding fitting resistances, first, a magnetic field of at least saturation field of the magnetoresistive sensor material is applied to the included Winston bridge, then the values of the output voltage of the Winston bridge are measured at two mutually perpendicular directions of the magnetic field, at which the output voltage has the maximum and minimum values, and achieve the equality of these values in absolute value, increasing the resistance of the shoulders of the bridge of Winston.
