SUBSTANCE: according to the disclosed method of preparing an infusion beverage, dried infusion substance (T) is supplied in infusion container (10), which is initially in a collapsed state and can then be expanded into an expanded state. Infusion liquid (F) is introduced into infusion container (10), wherein infusion container (10) is expanded. Dried infusion substance (T) in infusion container (10) is kept in contact with the infusion liquid, in order to form the infusion beverage, over a contact period. Infusion container (10) is then returned to its collapsed state, at least in part, by compression and, in the process, at least some of the infusion beverage is expelled from infusion container (10).
EFFECT: essence of the inventive method consists in a process for preparing an infusion beverage, a metered amount of a dry substance infusion with a measured amount of a liquid medium is brought into contact, and thereby creates the infused beverage.
