FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a single use pH sensor body for a disposable container (50), a single use pH sensor, and a method of its use. Body of a single use pH sensor includes a separation, which configured to place a single use pH sensor (60, 100). In one implementation variations, the body of single use pH sensor comprises a drive configured, when it is activated, to transfer single use pH sensor (60, 100) from storage position to working position. In the storage position, pH sensor (60, 100) is in contact with flow buffer solution (78). In working position, single use pH sensor (60, 100) is in contact by flow with inner part of disposable container (50). During transition from storage position to working position, buffer solution (78) moves from section of separation sensor to section of separation storage (120) so that buffer solution is isolated from contact with inner part of disposable container (50).
EFFECT: creation of a sensor that is compatible with single use bioreactors.
