FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for hydrotreating full range naphtha for producing products with low sulphur content, the process comprising: (a) separating the crude full range naphtha into a plurality of fractions comprising a middle naphtha fraction and a heavy naphtha fraction; (b) passing said heavy naphtha fraction into a vapour-liquid separator to obtain a vapour stream comprising hydrocarbons of said heavy naphtha fraction and a heavy naphtha liquid stream; (c) passing said vapour stream containing hydrocarbons of said heavy naphtha fraction to a feed heater; (d) passing said vapour stream containing hydrocarbons of said heavy naphtha fraction from said feed heater to the first catalyst bed of the hydrotreating reactor; (e) passing said heavy naphtha liquid stream comprising said heavy naphtha fraction and said middle naphtha fraction, to a second catalyst bed of said hydrotreating reactor; and (f) recovering the hydrotreated product stream from the hydrotreating reactor; wherein the first and second catalyst beds are arranged in series within the hydrotreating reactor and the second catalyst bed is located downstream of the first catalyst bed.
EFFECT: invention also relates to a full range naphtha hydrotreating unit.
