SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to biotechnology and in particular to genetic engineering and can be used in medical studies to obtain a human platelet growth factor. Recombinant plasmid DNA pPDGFB encoding the synthesis of a polypeptide with human platelet-BB growth factor, which provides biosynthesis with a level of about 40÷60 mg of recombinant protein/liter culture. Highly efficient synthesis of the target polypeptide is ensured by the fact that the target gene is under the control of the strong inducible promoter AOX1.

EFFECT: present Pichia pastoris strain GS115PDGFB provides the synthesis of a polypeptide with human platelet-BB growth factor in an amount of at least 40 mg of the target protein per liter of culture.
