SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of communication. This method is applied to a wireless local area network, wherein the next-generation protocol, according to which the wireless local area network operates, preset the positions of the resource units, possibly allocated from the assigned resource of the frequency domain. Said method includes generating, by the sending side, resource planning information, wherein the resource planning information includes a bit sequence for indicating an actual allocation of a unit or units of a resource from the assigned resource of the frequency domain and at least some bits in the bit sequence serve to indicate whether or not one or more of the aforementioned positions of the resource units, possibly allocated to the assigned resource of the frequency domain, are actually allocated by the resource unit(s).

EFFECT: embodiments of the present invention provide a method for resource planning that can support a reduction in the costs of transmission resources in the resource planning.
