FIELD: metal rolling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the hot-rolling of a metallic product. Method for controlling the hot-rolling process includes adjusting, in a rolling mill stand, at least one parameter selected from the flow rate of the lubricating emulsion through a nozzle atomiser, increasing the tension of the product and the pressing force of the rolls, measuring the speed of the product at the outlet from the stand, determining the forward slippage ratio of the product, measuring the pressing force of the working rolls in the stand, real-time calculation of the friction coefficient between the product and working rolls and comparing the calculated friction coefficient with a predetermined value, on the basis of which one of said parameters is adjusted so that the friction coefficient does not exceed the predetermined value. Invention also relates to a rolling method using said adjustment method and to a corresponding rolling mill.
EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to improve the quality of rolling.
