SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly, to vehicle control systems. Panel includes an amplifying element comprising a plurality of chopped carbon fibers in a polyamide resin, and a substrate coupled to the reinforcing element, comprising a plurality of chopped carbon and chopped glass fibers in the polyamide resin. Chopped carbon fibers and the chopped glass fibers in the substrate are segregated such that a plurality of carbon fibers and glass fibers are largely concentrated on the driver and passenger side of the substrate, respectively. Substrate may also have a boundary region such that the plurality of chopped carbon fibers and glass fibers in the substrate in the boundary region are substantially mixed.
EFFECT: invention provides for the creation of lightweight components of a motor vehicle having increased mechanical strength.
