FIELD: small arms.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to crossbows. Device for tensioning the bowstrings of a crossbow consists of a crossbow body, in the area of the front end of which are the shoulders, connected by a bowstring, a mobile tension actuator, in a single body of which there are elements for grasping and holding the bowstring, a safety device, a trigger, trigger and a lever system. In this case, the rotational motion of the main arm is converted into a reciprocating motion of the actuator along the crossbow body, with the grip and retention of the bowstring, by cocking the trigger mechanism.
EFFECT: technical result is reloading the crossbow without much effort.
