FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna technology, in particular to broadband helical antennas operating in the ultrahigh (UHF) and extremely high (EHF) frequencies. Helical antenna comprises a two-way flat printed spiral board, a cylindrical resonator and an exciter device in the form of a microstrip version of a wedge-shaped transformer. In the central part of the spiral board, between the contact pads of the spiral conductors, one hole is formed into which the end of the transformer ends, terminating in a two-wire line. Each of the conductors of the two-wire line is galvanically connected directly to the corresponding conductor of the spiral.
EFFECT: technical result consists in expanding the operating frequency band in the UHF and EHF bands, in decreasing the longitudinal dimension of the antenna and in increasing the manufacturability of its manufacture.
