SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Ablation catheter is designed for use with a guide wire and comprises an elongated tubular member, an annular electrode, an elongated support member with a shape memory and a proximal and distal rings. Elongated tubular member has a first lumen located therein and a three-dimensional portion disposed therein. Said annular electrode is attached to the three-dimensional portion and permits ablation. Said elongated support member with the shape memory exits through the distal portion of the first lumen and has a preformed three-dimensional shape supporting the three-dimensional portion. Said proximal ring is proximal to the three-dimensional portion. Said distal ring is distal to the three-dimensional portion. First and second rings are configured to pass the guide therethrough.
EFFECT: catheter having a deformable three-dimensional shape that can be used with the guide member without increasing the external diameter of the catheter is achieved.
